For the KompAKI Center of Excellence, we created a nine-part documentary film series. It introduces the participating research groups from Hochschule Darmstadt and TU Darmstadt along with their respective projects. We also visited MetaPhacts, WIKA and SpryFox and spoke with the project manager responsible at the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The result was eight films focusing on individual projects, while a ninth presents the interdisciplinary KompAKI initiative as a whole.

Throughout the series, we used an interview-led storytelling approach, giving a voice to the people who can speak precisely about their fields and research projects as subject-matter experts. Following a joint project kick-off and coordination with the respective contacts, we independently planned and delivered the entire production process: from developing the interview content and film narratives to numerous shooting days and complete post-production across picture, sound and animation.
