The construction of a hall-sized paint workshop with high-end, sustainable technology for air extraction and temperature regulation expands the service portfolio of the craft business Steuernagel & Lampert.
With the aim of reaching new target groups among vehicle and classic car enthusiasts as well as furniture lovers, we were asked to develop fresh, independent branding.
So we began the first design steps in parallel with the naming process. Starting from the parent company Steuernagel & Lampert and the already existing workshop brand TEXTURWERK, which we had also developed, we created an independent identity that still fits well into the emerging brand family visually.
Many ideas were on the pinboard; the choice fell on LACKRAUM. The simple name reduces everything to the essentials. The logo, with its floor-plan linework, picks up on this idea and adapts in area depending on the application. The color world connects to the dark, elegant black-white-gold palette of Texturwerk, while allowing more color and thus closing the loop to the colorful design of Steuernagel & Lampert.
On a combined production day, we created film and photo material that almost self-explanatorily demonstrates the skills of the Lackraum team and the technical equipment of the high-end paint booth. By that point, we had already developed the basic structure of the new website, allowing us to work out content and placement in relation to one another.
