SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions is a family-owned company from Klein-Ostheim and one of the market leaders in manufacturing laser systems for refractive surgery.

Our collaboration began with the production of a two-part commercial clip series. To counter potential fear of eye treatment, we wanted to approach the topic with humor. The clips also needed to work without spoken language so they could be used internationally. Laserman, who intervenes in seemingly precarious situations, is the exaggerated personification of laser treatment improving patients' everyday lives. In addition to social media use, the films were made available to treating practices worldwide.

In our continued collaboration with Schwind's marketing department, we have regularly worked on explainer and product films about treatments and laser device functions, and we also held a workshop for internal film production by employees.

For the 30th anniversary of laser manufacturing, we developed and produced a new company film. Management and all departments appear in it, as do treating doctors and patients. We conducted numerous audio interviews and developed the visual layer based on them. Over five shooting days in total, we filmed in Munich, Zurich and at the company headquarters in Klein-Ostheim.
